Since PLAATO was founded by Pål Ingebrigtsen and Michael Kononsky in 2016, we have worked to combine technologies and innovations in their approach to solving customer problems in new and smarter ways. They call it remixing, and this philosophy speaks of their desire to take proven technologies to create unique new products for the better of PLAATO’s customers.

Since 2016, PLAATO has built recognized software and sensor products and has built a team of 20 professionals from a diverse set of backgrounds and nationalities. Coming from nine different countries, we believe that it is important to mirror the world to serve customers all over the world. And with a global first mindset, we’re proud to say we already have customers across more than 30 different countries.

Collaborative is a value we strongly emphasize in the company, and this does not just reflect how we work internally, but the nature of how we partner with our customers. We want our customers to know us by names, and firmly believe that some of the best development ideas will come in the intersection between us and our customers.
