Optimize Your Craft Brewery with Made Smarter Funding Support!

Introduction

PLAATO is working with the Made Smarter Initiative in the UK to make our solutions for real-time fermentation monitoring and brewery production optimization more accessible to breweries in the UK. Together with the Made Smarter Initiative, we have onboarded customers such as Myles Hennelly from Davenports Brewery to get them started on a journey of data-driven brewing, focused on producing as efficiently as possible.

The Made Smarter Initiative offers UK craft breweries an incredible opportunity to take your production to the next level supported by its supporting technology grants. Aimed at helping SMEs improve efficiencies, quality, and sustainability, Made Smarter provides funding support for the right projects, where 50% of project costs can be covered, up to total project costs of £40,000.

Eligibility for the Made Smarter Initiative

To qualify, you need to be a small to medium-sized manufacturing business with premises in England. The North West, North East, East and West Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber, and West of England regions can get it already now, while other regions should start applying as those regions will be included in early 2025. Most craft breweries qualify, except for those owned by large corporations.
